La historia se repite: una visión del desarrollo y del desarrollo sostenible

Abstract

El artículo se desarrolla bajo una concepción que ha evolucionado bajo los cánones de lo económicamente correcto, involucrando los aportes alternativos realizados desde Latinoamérica y específicamente Colombia. Luego se presenta el desenvolvimiento dado en la conceptualización del desarrollo sostenible, a la luz del abordaje del desarrollo y ambiente, se involucra el papel jugado por las propuestas latinoamericanas. Se muestran las relaciones e interdependencias presentes resultado de lo sucedido en el avance del desarrollo y el ambiente, mostrando las infl uencias recíprocas de cada elemento en la definición del otro. El documento concluye mostrando una claratendencia a la uniformidad de conceptos y dominancia del pensamiento de los centros de pensamiento y toma de decisiones, lo que no ha signifi cado mejoras en términos de desarrollo ni de desarrollo sostenible, por lo que se hace urgente la búsqueda de alternativas que respondan a las necesidades latinoamericanas en el marco de una independencia intelectual.
