Abstract

Resumen: En este artículo se estima un modelo que determina el comportamiento de las variables del mercado laboral, con el fin de establecer la dinámica del empleo transitorio y el salario real en Medellín y el Valle de Aburrá entre 1995 y 2006. La caracterización de este mercado se realizó mediante el modelo neoclásico de mercado laboral con ecuaciones simultáneas; a partir del cual se encontró que en el largo plazo las personas estarían dispuestas a aceptar un trabajo a cualquier nivel de ingreso y que tenderá a aumentar la sensibilidad de los salarios y el empleo respecto al producto
