La problemática del análisis laboral de demanda en Colombia

Abstract

Este artículo constituye el punto de partida de una nueva metodología analítica del mercado laboral Colombiano. Dado que dicha metodología se concentra en el análisis de información de demanda, el artículo se enfoca en presentar detalladamente la problemática existente al respecto. Diferentes secciones se dedican a presentar la problemática jurídica, la disponibilidad de datos y los incentivos teóricos cruzados en torno a la disponibilidad o control restringido de la información de vacantes. Finalmente se presentan los lineamientos básicos de la nueva metodología analítica, la cual no ha sido aplicada a este nivel de agregación y capacidad de procesamiento en ningún país latinoamericano. Su potencial de aporte al análisis del mercado de trabajo y formulación de políticas dirigidas a enfrentar el desempleo friccional y cíclico es notable.
