El modelo de crecimiento hacia adentro: una interpretación del caso colombiano

Abstract

En este trabajo se realiza un análisis de los fundamentos teóricos de la CEPAL,haciendo énfasis en las ideas que sobre la industrialización disenó lainstitución. Se estudia la forma en que se integran las economíaslatinoamericanas con el resto del mundo y la manera en que las han afectadolas crisis de los anos treinta y luego la de los ochenta. La investigacióndemuestra que la industrialización por sustitución de importaciones protegióa la economía colombiana de las oscilaciones de la economía mundial yatenuó los choques externos, de tal forma que los procesos de acumulaciónde capital fueron menos fluctuantes y de esta manera, se alcanzó undesarrollo industrial con una alta participación del capital extranjero.____________ABSTRACT:In this paper work an analysis of the Latin American Economic commissiontheoretical foundations is carried out. The way as the Latin America economyis integrated with the rest of the world is analysed in this article. Likewise,the way as the 1930´s and 1980´s crisis affected those economies. This researchdone demonstrates that industrialization through import substitutionprotected the Colombian economy from the World economical oscillationsand attenuated the external crashes as well, so that the capital accumulationprocesses became less fluctuating. This was the way as an industrialdevelopment was reached with the foreign capital participation.
