La varianza del método común en la relación entre la satisfacción laboral y la satisfacción con la vida

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo fue identificar y medir la presencia de la varianza del método común en la relación entre la satisfacción laboral y la satisfacción con la vida. El diseno de investigación empleado fue correlacional, no experimental y transversal. En concreto, se aplicó una encuesta a una muestra no probabilística de 287 estudiantes mexicanos de maestría. Los datos se analizaron por medio del método de variable marca. Los resultados indican que la correlación entre la satisfacción laboral y la satisfacción con la vida presenta niveles leves de varianza del método común. Este hallazgo pone en tela de juicio la supuesta severidad de la varianza del método común en encuestas autoadministradas que miden varias actitudes en forma simultánea.
