Abstract

El objetivo principal de este trabajo es evaluar la racionalidad y la efectividad del encaje sobre los flujos de capital que el Banco de la República introdujo en Colombia desde 1993, el cual es similar al aplicado en Chile y puede caracterizarse como un impuesto Tobin.
