Sectors in Focus: Retail Sale of Clothing

Abstract

The slump in business as a result of the coronavirus crisis was particularly severe for fashion retailers compared to the retail sector as a whole. At present, there is little hope among retailers that the situation will improve in the near future. The coronavirus crisis is accelerating the trend toward more online sales at the expense of the stationary retail trade.
