Wettbewerbsfähigkeit von erneuerbaren Energieträgern

Abstract

Geht es nach der Politik und Gesellschaft, wird unser Energiesystem in den kommenden Dekaden massiv umgebaut. Dabei werden die damit einhergehenden Herausforderungen gerne ignoriert oder unterschätzt. In den kommenden zehn Jahren wird sich zeigen, ob erneuerbare Energiequellen weitere Kostendegressionen realisieren können, insbesondere Wind offshore und Biomasse, und ob die Integration in den Strommarkt gelingt. Zu dieser erfolgreichen Einbindung sind große Anstrengungen zum Netz- und Speicherausbau unumgänglich. All dies geschieht vor dem Hintergrund der Unsicherheiten in Bezug auf die erwartete Klimaveränderung, die als Hauptmotivation herangezogen wird.
