Entwicklung von Wirtschaft und Arbeitsmarkt in Sachsen 2003/2004

Abstract

Das internationale und nationale Umfeld für die sächsische Wirtschaft hellt sich voraussichtlich auf. Hiervon wird auch die sächsische Industrie profitieren, die ihre Wettbewerbsfähigkeit gerade in der zurückliegenden Konjunkturflaute wieder unter Beweis gestellt hat. Trotz Schwächen wegen des Konsolidierungszwangs bei den öffentlichen Haushalten ist erstmals seit sieben Jahren für 2004 wieder ein Wachstum des Bruttoinlandsprodukts in Sachsen von mehr als 2 % zu erwarten. Angesichts der demographischen Trends dürfte das laufende Jahr den Höhepunkt in der Arbeitslosigkeit in Sachsen markieren.
