Abstract

The primary interest of the work carried out is to propose a reflection on one of the major functions of the profession of teacher-researcher – teaching – in relation with economic law, an essential lever for the ecological transition. The initial findings, highlighting the still marginal nature of ecological issues in the teaching of economic law and their gradual emergence, opened the discussion. Approaches based on the concerned disciplines then showed that integration of the ecological transition into teaching still widely varies, even though some developments are perceptible everywhere. Openness to a cross-disciplinary approach is not the same, for instance, for company law, international trade law, competition law or labour law. However, the greatest challenges lie undoubtedly in the need to rethink and profoundly transform methodologies. To reflect on these reflections and pay tribute to all teachers, the concluding remarks are organised around three major phases of education in our Republic: Primary, Secondary and Higher Education.
