Abstract

The environment, and the issues it raises, seems unavoidable today. However, it is often only through the economic prism that he is apprehended. This is not extraordinary when we know the place and role of the economy in the social world. As for the law, some recent research analyzes the way it shapes capital, and is more generally interested in the legal coding of capital. Environment, economics, law: all of these terms are at the heart of the research led by A.-S. Epstein, M.-A. Chardeaux and G. J. Martin, whose question is whether economic law could be a lever for the ecological transition. The focus is on teaching economic law. The objective of this article is to present the sociological framework of research. After returning to this field of law that is economic law, the article focuses on its teaching by presenting the first results of sociological research.
