Abstract

Renewed by alternative systems, short food supply chains now concern a diversity of actors and logics. Based on economic and network sociology contribution, the article highlights different collective identities around these chains and shows their coevolution, from the analysis of the discourses and projects of the institutions and organisations concerned in France. These results question the conditions of their coexistence and enable to integrate the role of institutions in economic sociology.
