Industrie 4.0 – Hype, Hope oder Harm?

Abstract

Der vorliegende Beitrag geht der Frage nach, wie die aktuellen Wandlungsprozesse rund um das Thema Industrie 4.0 wahrgenommen werden und wovon die Wahrnehmung beeinflusst wird. Im Rahmen der Debatte um das Thema Industrie 4.0 kristallisieren sich drei Trends (Hype, Hope und Harm) heraus, die parallel diskutiert werden. In der vorliegenden Studie werden diese aufgegriffen und mittels einer Online-Befragung mit 136 Mandatsträgern aus dem Bereich der chemisch-pharmazeutischen Industrie empirisch untersucht. Die Studie gibt Hinweise dafür, dass technikaffine Personen das Thema Industrie 4.0 positiver wahrnehmen. Deutlich gezeigt werden kann, dass die Ent- bzw. Belastung durch digitale Technologien die Wahrnehmung von Industrie 4.0 beeinflusst.
