Finansal Kriz Döneminde Firmaların Nakit Akış Profilleri ile Finansal Performanslarının Karşılaştırılması BIST’te Bir Araştırma

Abstract

İşletmeler açısından nakit ve nakit yönetimi önemlidir. Nakit akış tablosu, işletmenin nakit akışları ile ilgili olan tablosudur. Finansal durum ve kar zarar tablosu tahakkuk esasına göre hazırlanırken nakit akış tablosu nakit esasına göre hazırlanır. Nakit akış tablosu işletmenin esas, yatırım ve finansman faaliyetlerinden nakit akışlarını göstermek üzere üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Bu üç bölüm işletme ile ilgili çıkar grupları için önemli bilgiler sunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, BIST’te “Metal Eşya Makine Elektrikli Cihazlar ve Ulaşım Araçları” ve “Tekstil, Giyim Eşyası ve Deri” sektörlerinde işlem gören 22 işletmenin verileri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada yer alan işletmelerin ekonomik krizin yaşandığı 1998-2002 yıllarına ait finansal durum tablosu, kar zarartablosu ve nakit akış tablosu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada, işletmelerin TOPSIS’e göre performans başarı sıralamaları sektör bazında ayrı ayrı tespit edilmiştir. Her bir işletmenin nakit akış tablosu ve nakit akış profilleri ayrı ayrı oluşturulmuştur. Sektör bazında işletmelerin performans sıralamaları ve nakit akış profilleri ekonomik kriz de dikkate alınarak karşılaştırılıp yorumlanmıştır. Sonuç olarak her iki sektörde de en başarılı işletmelerin çoğunlukla model 4 (Büyüyen İşletme) profiline uygun nakit akışlarının gerçekleştiği tespit edilmiştir.
