Gauging the drivers of financial choices. An insight on the maze of risk

Abstract

Research on human risky behaviours could benefit investors by increasing their consciousness of the emotional component of their decision making under risk, with a challenge of “awareness of unawareness”. Such consciousness should be one of the pillars grounding production, distribution and regulation of financial products as well as financial education programmes
