O Impacto do Crescimento Econômico sobre as Rodovias de São Paulo: Uma Aplicação do Modelo de Insumo-Produto Combinado com o Geoprocessamento

Abstract

O conhecimento da infra-estrutura de transportes é essencial para definir estratégias de desenvolvimento, especialmente em países com dimensões continentais, como o Brasil. Nesse contexto, este estudo busca estimar o impacto do crescimento econômico esperado para os próximos anos sobre a demanda pelas rodovias do Estado de São Paulo. Inicialmente, os fluxos econômicos entre as cidades de São Paulo são avaliados através de um modelo de insumo-produto gravitacional, considerando a maximização da entropia e as relações inter-setoriais derivadas dos sistemas de insumo-produto inter-regionais; posteriormente, esses fluxos são incorporados a um sistema de informações geográficas aplicado à rede de transportes. Com isso, determina-se o valor econômico associado a cada rodovia, permitindo avaliar a diferença entre os anos de 2002 e 2012, por meio da analise de impacto dada pela matriz inversa de Leontief. Os resultados possibilitam a avaliação direta da demanda de transportes sobre a malha rodoviária.
