Bildungswege besser verstehen: Das nationale Bildungspanel

Abstract

Warum scheitern so viele Jugendliche am Schulabschluss? Wie beeinflussen Freunde, Lehrer, Eltern die Lernentwicklung? Wie viel bringt Weiterbildung den Berufstätigen wirklich? Um solche Fragen fundiert beantworten zu können, startet jetzt das Nationale Bildungspanel, für das in den kommenden Jahren rund 60.000 Menschen in allen Altersgruppen befragt werden. Das WZB wird zwei der acht Etappen federführend begleiten: die Phase des Übergangs in eine Ausbildung und in den Arbeitsmarkt sowie die Phase der Erwerbstätigkeit zwischen Ausbildung und Verrentung.
