Sabbaticals in Deutschland und Belgien: Der gesetzliche Anspruch macht den Unterschied aus

Abstract

Obwohl viele Menschen gerne eine Auszeit aus dem Beruf nehmen möchten, werden Sabbaticals in Deutschland kaum genutzt. Betriebliche und finanzielle Barrieren verhindern oft ein Sabbatical. In Belgien gehören Sabbaticals dank eines gesetzlichen Anspruchs zum Arbeitsleben dazu - auch wenn Wenigverdiener im Nachteil sind und seltener eine Auszeit nehmen können.
