Zur Ausreifung des Politikfeldes Public Health

Abstract

Der Begriff Public Health bezeichnet die Wissenschaft und die Praxis der Primärpräven-tion, also einen spezifischen Bereich der Gesundheitswissenschaften, sowie ein neu entstehendes Versorgungssystem neben der Kuration, der Rehabilitation und der Pflege. Diese neuen Strukturen konsolidieren sich schrittweise. Der vorliegende Aufsatz plä-diert dafür, Public Health als ein werdendes Politikfeld wahrzunehmen, dessen Aufbau systematisch voranzutreiben ist.
