Von der regionalisierten Strukturpolitik zur nachhaltigen Regionalentwicklung: Regionale Politikkonzepte im Zeitalter der Globalisierung

Abstract

Der Autor diskutiert vor dem Hintergund veränderter Handlungsspielräume undOrganisationsmuster die Aufgaben und Herausforderungen einer innovativen Regionalpolitik. Globalisierung und nachhaltige Regionalentwicklung werden hierbei als komplementäre Zielbereiche angesehen, die bei einem erweiterten Verständnis von Globalisierung auch gemeinsame Schnittmengen aufweisen können.Die Erschließung dieser Schnittmengen ist auf neue Formen des Regional-managements angewiesen, daß zwischen den komplexer werdenden Handlungsfeldern und der ressortmäßigen, problemorientierten Bearbeitung durch Verwaltung und Planung vermittelt.
