Neuordnung der Arbeitsbeziehungen in der Fleischindustrie: Das Ende der "organisierten Verantwortungslosigkeit"?

Abstract

Die Corona-Ausbrüche in einigen großen deutschen Fleischbetrieben haben die seit Langem bekannten Missstände in der Branche wieder in den Fokus des öffentlichen Interesses gerückt. Mit dem nun vorgelegten Arbeitsschutzkontrollgesetz und dem darin vorgesehenen Verbot von Werkverträgen und Leiharbeit könnte erstmal ein Weg eingeschlagen werden, der zu einer grundlegenden Neuordnung der Arbeitsbeziehungen in der Fleischindustrie führt. Für die Durchsetzung guter Arbeitsbedingungen ist darüber hinaus jedoch die Wiederherstellung einer flächendeckenden Tarifbindung notwendig, die durch einen allgemeinverbindlich erklärten Branchentarifvertrag abgesichert wird.
