WSI-Arbeitskampfbilanz 2019: Rückgang des Arbeitskampfvolumens trotz steigender Anzahl von Arbeitskonflikten

Abstract

2019 sind in Deutschland aufgrund von Arbeitskämpfen rund 360.000 Arbeitstage ausgefallen. Gegenüber dem Vorjahr 2018 ist das Arbeitskampfvolumen damit um etwa zwei Drittel zurückgegangen. Auch die Zahl der Streikteilnehmer*innen lag mit 270.000 erheblich unter der des Vorjahres. Zugleich hat 2019 die Zahl der Arbeitskonflikte mit 227 gegenüber 216 im Vorjahr sogar leicht zugenommen. Bei der großen Mehrheit handelt es sich um betriebsbezogene Konflikte. Im Jahr 2020 stehen die Tarifauseinandersetzungen ganz im Zeichen der Corona-Krise. Größere Arbeitskonflikte sind unter diesen Bedingungen erst einmal nicht zu erwarten.
