Wer ist impfberechtigt? Ein internationaler Blick

Abstract

Der Deutsche Bundestag hat im Mai 2022 beschlossen, dass Apotheken zukünftig gegen Influenza impfen können. Die WIP-Kurzanalyse zeigt, dass der Gesetzgeber damit einem internationalen Trend zu einer Ausweitung des Kreises der Impfberechtigten auf nicht-ärztliche Leistungserbringer folgt. In der Untersuchung werden die gesetzlichen Vorgaben zu den Impfberechtigungen in 22 Ländern untersucht. In 13 der 22 betrachteten Länder besitzen Apotheker eine Impfberechtigung. Die großzügigsten Regelungen zur Impfberechtigung kennen Portugal, Großbritannien und die Schweiz. Erste Studien aus anderen Ländern zeigen, dass die Ausweitung der Impfberechtigungen mit einer höherer Impfquote in Verbindung gebracht werden können. Die Ausweitung des Kreises der Impfberechtigten soll das ärztliche Impfen ergänzen und nicht ersetzen.
