Paradigmenwechsel in Lateinamerika

Abstract

Die meisten Staaten Lateinamerikas und darüber hinaus viele Entwicklungsländer weltweit haben in den letzten 10 Jahren substantielle Reformen ihrer Volkswirtschaften vorgenommen. Ziel dieser Reformen ist es, den überkommenen Weg der staatlich gelenkten wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung hinter hohen protektionistischen Schranken zu verlassen. Die Reformprozesse werden von vielen Beobachtern als so einschneidend angesehen, daß bisweilen von einem "Paradigmenwechsel der Strategie der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung" gesprochen wird. Ziel der folgenden Ausführungen soll es sein, diesen Paradigmenwechsel darzustellen (Kapitel 1), seine Ergebnisse zu skizzieren und auf offene Probleme hinzuweisen {Kapitel 2). Einige kurze Schlußfolgerungen werden im letzten Teil gezogen (Kapitel 3).
