Neue Quellen für die unternehmenshistorische Analyse

Abstract

In diesem Beitrag wird die Herkunft und Genese von Quellengattungen diskutiert, die für die historische Unternehmensforschung neuerdings verfügbar sind, aber noch sehr selten genutzt wurden: Steuerlisten und Akten der Gewerbeaufsicht.1 Damit können erstmalig große Mengen quantitativer Gewinn-, Beschäftigungsstruktur- und Kapitalbestandsdaten auf einzelbetrieblicher Ebene mobilisiert werden.
