Die Messung interkultureller Sensibilität in verschiedenen Kulturen: Eine internationale Vergleichsstudie

Abstract

Eine Kerndimension von Modellen der interkulturellen Kompetenz bildet die interkulturelle Sensibilät von Personen, die in zunehmendem Maße den Gegenstand emprischer Forschungsbemühungen bildet. In den USA hat Chen ein Meßmodell der interkulturellen Sensibilität empirisch generiert, das fünf Faktoren mit insgesamt 24 Indikatoren umfaßt. Dieses Modell wird anhand einer deutschen Stichprobe mittels konformatorischer Faktorenanalyse überprüft. Im großen und ganzen bewährt sich das Modell dabei empirisch, wobei aber in Einzelaspekten die Operationilisierung verbesserungsbedürftig erscheint. Dennoch bietet das Modell, aufs Ganze gesehen, einen brauchbaren Ausgangspunkt für die Entwicklung eines kulturübergreifenden Instrumentariums zur Messung der interkulturellen Sensibilität von Personen.
