Dialog zwischen EU und Eurasischer Wirtschaftsunion - einen Versuch wert

Abstract

Im Jahr 2015 hat Russland die Eurasische Wirtschaftsunion (EWU) ins Leben gerufen, ein Projekt zur wirtschaftlichen Integration der Länder Eurasiens. Seit Anfang 2015 wird darüber diskutiert, einen Dialog zwischen der EU und der EWU einzurichten, um ein neues Gesprächsformat in der gegenwärtigen Eiszeit der russisch-europäischen Beziehungen zu etablieren. Dieses Format bietet einige Vorteile, aber es ist nicht geeig-net, die fundamentalen Gegensätze zwischen Russland und der EU zu überwinden. Immerhin könnte ein solcher Dialog als Rahmen für Gespräche über »Low Politics« selbst unter schwierigen Rahmenbedingungen funktionieren.
