Prämissen hinterfragen: Plädoyer für eine Neugestaltung der deutschen Russlandpolitik

Abstract

Die deutsche Russlandpolitik basiert auf einer Reihe von Annahmen, die den Umgang mit Russland und dessen innere Entwicklung betreffen. In Anbetracht der realen Entwicklung ist zu fragen, ob einige dieser Prämissen nicht revidiert werden sollten. Das Vorgehen der herrschenden Elite in jüngerer Zeit bestätigt jedenfalls die autoritären und kompromisslosen Trends, die in den letzten Jahren in der russischen Innen-, Wirtschafts- und Außenpolitik zu beobachten waren. Solange diese Trends anhalten, sollte Deutschland zu einer Politik übergehen, die in der Zusammenarbeit mit Russland selektiver agiert und berechtigte Kritik nicht scheut
