Abstract

Seit den Anschlägen des 13. Novembers 2015, die in Paris über 130 Menschen das Leben gekostet haben, befindet sich Frankreich im »Krieg gegen den internationalen Terrorismus«. Das Land führt diesen Kampf mit einer Intensität, die hierzulande unterschätzt wird. Die Innenpolitik wird derzeit vom Erlass repressiver Maßnahmen bestimmt, im Ausland führt Paris zwei militärische Operationen gegen terroristische Vereinigungen durch. Meint es Deutschland mit seinem Versprechen einer »vollen Unterstützung« Frankreichs ernst, sollte es seinem wichtigsten Partner vor allem bei der Umsetzung europäischer Antiterrormaßnahmen und Projekten zur Entradikalisierung helfen.
