Serbien vor neuen politischen Turbulenzen?

Abstract

Der serbische Ministerpräsident Zoran Đinđić hat mit einschneidenden politischen Aktionen Mitte Juni die politische Initiative an sich gerissen, um dem weiteren Verfall seiner Machtbasis entgegenzutreten und seine Stellung im Machtkampf gegen den jugoslawischen Bundespräsidenten Vojislav Koštunica zu verbessern. Sein Vorstoß erfolgte zu einem Zeitpunkt, als durch die Ermordung des Polizeigenerals Boško Buha in Mafia-Manier das Versagen der Regierung in Belgrad bei der Bekämpfung der organisierten Kriminalität und bei der Herstellung von Rechtsstaatlichkeit insgesamt deutlich wurde. Das Land befindet sich in der schlimmsten politischen Krise seit dem Sturz Slobodan Miloševićs vor annähernd zwei Jahren. (SWP-aktuell / SWP)
