Abstract

Russland ist ein relevanter Akteur in der globalen Auseinandersetzung mit einem Terrorismus, der sich als Dschihad ausgibt. Dabei ist die russische Innen- und Außenpolitik in der dritten Amtsperiode Präsident Putins und verstärkt im Umfeld des Ukraine-Konflikts gleichzeitig bemüht, sich von »westlichen Pseudowerten« abzugrenzen. Diese ambivalente Haltung kam in der Auseinandersetzung um »Charlie Hebdo« ebenso zum Ausdruck wie bei der Diskussion darüber, wie gegen den »Islamischen Staat« in Syrien und im Irak vorzugehen ist.
