Abstract

In New York haben bei den Vereinten Nationen die zwischenstaatlichen Verhandlungen über die Post-2015-Agenda begonnen. Bereits im November 2014 befasste sich die jährliche Parlamentarische Anhörung der VN mit den Post-2015-Zielen für nachhaltige Entwicklung. Anfang Dezember legte VN Generalsekretär Ban Ki-moon dann einen Synthesebericht zu den bisherigen Verhandlungsergebnissen vor. Bei beiden Anlässen wurde betont, dass den Parlamenten der Mitgliedstaaten eine verantwortungsvolle Rolle zukomme, wenn die neuen Ziele künftig auf nationaler Ebene umgesetzt werden. Doch wie genau können und sollten sich Parlamente für dieses Thema engagieren? (SWP-Aktuell)
