Abstract

In seiner Studie "Für einen wirksamen Klimaschutz" entwirft der Kronberger Kreis, wissenschaftlicher Beirat der Stiftung Marktwirtschaft, eine ökonomisch funktionsfähige Klimaschutzpolitik auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene. Angesichts der gravierenden Defizite der bisherigen deutschen Klimaschutzpolitik fordert er, die Subvention der Erzeugung von erneuerbaren Energien im Rahmen des Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetzes einzustellen. Stattdessen empfiehlt der Kronberger Kreis, das Zertifikatesystem für Treibhausgasemissionen international und sektoral auszuweiten und dessen Effizienz zu nutzen.
