Die Agenda 2030: Ein Instrument für nachhaltige Entwicklung in fragilen Staaten?

Abstract

Mit der Integration einer umfassenden Friedensdimension legt die Agenda 2030 für nachhaltige Entwicklung die Basis für einen veränderten Umgang mit fragilen und von gewaltsamen Konflikten betroffenen Staaten - und damit auch für die Beseitigung extremer Armut, die Reduzierung von Gewalt und die Verringerung sozialer und politischer Ungleichheiten. Mit "business as usual" werden diese Ziele in fragilen Staaten jedoch nicht erreicht werden. Im Global Governance Spotlight 4|2016 diskutiert Marc Baxmann von FriEnt deshalb notwendige Maßnahmen, um die Friedensdimension wirksam werden zu lassen.
