Abstract

Über Jahrzehnte war Entwicklungspolitik von der Vorstellung geprägt, den armen Ländern des globalen Südens müsse mit Geld aus dem reichen Norden in ihrer Entwicklung geholfen werden. Spätestens seit der Finanz- und folgenden Staatsverschuldungskrisen 2008/09 scheint sich dieses Verständnis zu wandeln. Im aktuellen Global Governance Spotlight analysiert Wolfgang Obenland, Programmkoordinator des Global Policy Forum, die Verhandlungen um den Abschlusstext der 3. Internationalen Konferenz über Entwicklungsfinanzierung, die vom 13.-17. Juli 2015 in Addis Abeba stattfinden wird, und teilt seine Einschätzung hinsichtlich ihrer Fortschrittlichkeit.
