Halbzeitbilanz zum Sendai Rahmenwerk für Katastrophenvorsorge: Handlungsempfehlungen bis 2030 und darüber hinaus

Abstract

Im Jahr 2015 wurde das Sendai Rahmenwerk für Katastrophenvorsorge (Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction, SFDRR oder Sendai Rahmenwerk) auf der dritten Weltkonferenz der Vereinten Nationen (UN) zur Reduzierung von Katastrophenrisiken (Disaster Risk Reduction, DRR) im japanischen Sendai verabschiedet und anschließend von der UN-Generalversammlung gebilligt. Im Sendai Rahmenwerk werden sieben Zielsetzungen und vier Handlungsprioritäten festgelegt, um das Oberziel zu erreichen: "Die deutliche Verringerung des Katastrophenrisikos und der Verluste an Menschenleben, Existenzgrundlagen und Gesundheit sowie an wirtschaftlichen, physischen, sozialen, kulturellen und ökologischen Vermögenswerten von Menschen, Unternehmen, Gemeinwesen und Ländern" (UN 2015).
