Abstract

In den kommenden drei Jahren wird über die Zukunft der Millenniumsentwicklungsziele entschieden, die die Entwicklungspolitik seit der Jahrtausendwende maßgeblich geprägt haben. Gleichzeitig wird an der Formulierung globaler Ziele für nachhaltige Entwicklung gearbeitet. Vor diesem Hintergrund analysiert der Autor Jens Martens, Geschäftsführer des Global Policy Forums Europe und Mitglied im Beirat der Stiftung Entwicklung und Frieden, in der aktuellen Ausgabe unserer Global Governance Spotlight Reihe die notwendigen Schritte hin zu einer neuen 'holistischen' Agenda, die den zentralen Herausforderungen für Entwicklung und Nachhaltigkeit in der Zukunft gerecht werden kann.
