NRW hinkt mit Nullwachstum den anderen Ländern hinterher

Abstract

Fehlende Investitionen, hohe Besteuerung und Nachteile durch die Energiewende vergrößern NRWs Abstand zum Bundesdurchschnitt. - Mit einem Nullwachstum im Jahr 2015 hat Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) den Abstand zur deutschlandweiten BIP-Wachstumsrate gegenüber den vorherigen Jahren noch einmal vergrößert. Bei Wachstumstreibern wie Investitionen und Ausgaben für Forschung hinkt NRW deutlich hinter den anderen Bundesländern her. Hemmend wirken zudem Belastungen durch die Energiewende sowie eine starke Verschuldung der Kommunen. Diese zieht hohe Steuersätze für Bürger und Unternehmen nach sich und senkt die verfügbaren Einkommen.
