Ältere Mitarbeiter im Innovationsprozess: Eine explorative Interviewstudie

Abstract

Mit den Auswirkungen der erwerbsdemografischen Entwicklungen konfrontiert und dem Ziel, die betriebliche Innovationsfähigkeit zu fördern, müssen Personalverantwortliche lernen, mit zunehmend alternden Belegschaften und altersgemischten Teams umzugehen. Betriebliche Innovationserfolge hängen u.a. von der Innovationsbereitschaft und dem innovativen Verhalten der Beschäftigten ab. Im Rahmen des Projekts PerDemo wurden 53 leitfadengestützte Interviews mit Entscheidungsträgern kleiner und mittlerer Unternehmen durchgeführt. Ziel der Befragung war es zu ergründen, wie Führungskräfte und Personalverantwortliche die Veränderungsbereitschaft v.a. älterer Mitarbeiter einschätzen und welchen Einfluss vorherrschende Altersstereotypen der Befragten auf die Einschätzung der Veränderungsbereitschaft von Mitarbeitern haben, die als wesentlich für alle weiteren notwendigen innovativen Verhaltensweisen gelten. Darüber hinaus sollten Bedingungen einer Beteiligung älterer Mitarbeiter am Innovationsgeschehen identifiziert werden. Grundlage hierfür ist die Berücksichtigung eines mehrstufigen Phasenmodells.
