Rheinische Wegbereiter der Sozialen Marktwirtschaft: Charakter zeigen im Aufbruch

Abstract

Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg wurde Deutschland unter den Siegermächten aufgeteilt und lag wirtschaftlich am Boden. Während sich die Sowjetzone von den drei anderen Siegermächten abspaltete und eine Zentralverwaltungswirtschaft einführte, begannen die westlichen Besatzungszonen mit der schweren Aufgabe des wirtschaftlichen und gesellschaftlichen Wiederaufbaus unter marktwirtschaftlichem Vorzeichen. Die einzigartige Chance, einen Staat von den Wurzeln an mit neuen ordnungspolitischen Ideen sowie gesellschaftlichen Leitsätzen zu errichten, wurde erfolgreich umgesetzt. Eine bedeutende Rolle spielten dabei zum einen Konrad Adenauer und das katholische Rheinland, welche die Richtung zu dem Rechts- und Sozialstaat vorgaben sowie Ludwig Erhard, der seine Vorstellungen von Ordnungspolitik umsetzte. Dadurch entstand die Soziale Marktwirtschaft, eine neue Wirtschafts- und Gesellschaftsordnung für Deutschland.
