Offener Brief an Markus Henn (WEED)

Abstract

Mehrere zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen fordern ein Verbot bestimmter Finanzmarktspekulationen mit Agrarrohstoffen. Dieser Artikel reagiert auf einen Text, mit dem Markus Henn (WEED) zu meiner öffentlichen Kritik an dieser Kampagne mehrerer zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisationen Stellung bezogen hat. Dieser Text ist mit seiner Zustimmung im Anhang dokumentiert. Mein offener Brief wiederholt und begründet zwei zentrale Kritikpunkte: (a) Die Verbotsforderung widerspricht dem Mainstream der wissenschaftlichen Forschung, obwohl der gegenteilige Eindruck erweckt wird; (b) die Kampagne mehrerer zivilgesellschaftlicher Organisationen weist handwerkliche Fehler auf, die auf ein mangelhaftes Qualitätsmanagement der involvierten zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisationen schließen lassen.
