Die UN-Dekade "Bildung für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung" und der Beitrag des Global Compact: Eine wirtschaftsethische Perspektive

Abstract

Die drei Hauptaussagen dieses Beitrags lauten wie folgt: (1) Nachhaltigkeit erfordert Lernprozesse auf individueller und gesellschaftlicher Ebene, denn nicht nur die individuelle Regelbefolgung, sondern auch die gesellschaftliche Regelfindung und Regelsetzung müssen neu justiert werden, wenn das Institutionensystem weltweit so umprogrammiert werden soll, dass eine nachhaltige(re) Entwicklung möglich wird. (2) Insbesondere für die gesellschaftlichen Lernprozesse eröffnen sich mit dem „Global Compact“ der Vereinten Nationen neue Optionen. Hier können Politik, Zivilgesellschaft und Unternehmen innovative Formen partnerschaftlicher Zusammenarbeit („New Governance“) erproben. (3) Im Hinblick auf Nachhaltigkeit lassen sich vier wirtschaftsethische Lektionen formulieren, die zur Bereicherung individueller und gesellschaftlicher Lernprozesse beitragen könnten.
