Türkische Remigranten: Untersuchungen am Datensatz des sozio-ökonomischen Panels

Abstract

Die Türkei spielt als Emigrationsland von Gastarbeitern eine wichtige Rolle für die Bundesrepublik; ein Drittel aller Ausländer in Deutschland sind .Türken, wobei aus den vorgesehenen "Gästen" de facto Einwanderer geworden sind. Der folgende Beitrag möchte Gründe und Ursachen für die Migration, Aufenthaltsdauer und eine eventuelle Remigration darstellen sowie statistische Modelle zur Verweildaueranalyse aufführen, die für die Untersuchung von Einflußgrößen der Aufenthaltsdauer geeignet scheinen. Die empirischen Ergebnisse wurden anhand der vom Sozio-ökonomischen Panel (DIW) zur Verfügung gestellten Daten erzielt.
