Eine ökonomische Begründung der Nachhaltigkeit

Abstract

Der vorliegende Beitrag diskutiert die Frage, wie das im Konzept der nachhaltigen Entwicklung angelegte Prinzip inter- und intragenerationeller Gerechtigkeit erstens begründet und zweitens näher bestimmt werden kann. Die Begründungsfrage wird dabei mit einer Anlehnung an Kant beantwortet, d.h. mit einer Berufung auf die normative Vernunft, die über eine rein instrumentelle Vernunft ("ökonomische Rationalität") hinausgehen muss. Zur Konkretisierung von Gerechtigkeit im Zusammenhang mit Nachhaltigkeit wird ein Konzept ökologischer Grundrechte vorgeschlagen.
