Importseitiges De-Risking von China im Jahr 2023: Eine Anatomie hoher deutscher Importabhängigkeiten von China

Abstract

Die deutschen Importabhängigkeiten von China sind in der Gesamtschau im Jahr 2023 trotz gewisser Veränderungen auf ähnlichem Niveau geblieben wie im Vorjahr. Damit lässt sich nur in Ansätzen ein importseitiges De-Risking erkennen. Das zeigt das IW-Monitoring von industrienahen 8-Steller-Produktgruppen der Außenhandelsstatistik mit hohen und damit potenziell kritischen Importabhängigkeiten, definiert als Einfuhren mit einem Anteil aus China-von mindestens 50 Prozent. Aufgrund von gewissen Uneindeutigkeiten bei der Zuordnung der Produktgruppen zu industrie- oder konsumnahen Produktgruppen sind die Ergebnisse im Detail mit einer gewissen Vorsicht zu interpretieren, bieten aber eine klare qualitative Orientierung.
