Entgeltfortzahlung wegen Omikron kostet zusätzlich 3,6 Milliarden Euro

Abstract

Für ihre erkrankten Mitarbeiter zahlten die Unternehmen im Jahr 2021 insgesamt 77,7 Milliarden Euro an Bruttogehältern und Arbeitgeberbeiträgen zur Sozialversicherung. Weil Omikron vermehrt für Ausfälle in den Belegschaften sorgt, kommen in diesem Jahr voraussichtlich noch einmal 3,6 Milliarden Euro dazu.
