Fast drei Millionen Behinderte erwerbstätig: Schub für Inklusion durch Digitalisierung

Abstract

Von den über zehn Millionen Menschen in Deutschland mit einer amtlich anerkannten Behinderung sind fast 2,9 Millionen erwerbstätig. Knapp ein Drittel aller Unternehmen sehen in der Digitalisierung neue Chancen für die Beschäftigung von Menschen mit Behinderung. Und jedes fünfte Unternehmen setzt sogar digitale Technologien gezielt ein, um Beschäftigte mit Behinderungen bei der Bewältigung ihrer Aufgaben zu unterstützen. Dies kann mittelfristig sowohl die Inklusion generell voran bringen, als auch die Weiterbildung der Menschen mit Behinderung intensivieren.
