Arbeitszeitwünsche von Frauen und Männern

Abstract

Frauen und Männer haben unterschiedliche Präferenzen hinsichtlich des Umfangs ihrer Arbeitszeit. Eine Auswertung des Sozio-oekonomischen Panels (SOEP) verdeutlicht, dass die Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Beruf eine zentrale Ursache für divergierende Arbeitszeitwünsche darstellt. Allerdings unterscheiden sich die Wunscharbeitszeiten auch bei Frauen und Männern ohne Betreuungspflichten noch deutlich.
