Abstract

Der demografische Wandel wird in den kommenden zehn bis 20 Jahren zu einem erheblichen Rückgang des Fachkräfteangebots in Deutschland führen. Gerade im MINT-Bereich dürfte das notwendige Fachkräfteangebot nicht in ausreichendem Maße zur Verfügung stehen. In über zwei Dritteln der befragten Unternehmen hat daher die Fachkräftesicherung in den kommenden fünf Jahren einen eher großen oder sehr großen Stellenwert für die Sicherung ihres Geschäftsmodells. Um die Veränderungsprozesse von Demografie, Digitalisierung und Dekarbonisierung erfolgreich bewältigen zu können, sind zusätzliche Impulse bei Bildung, Zuwanderung und Forschung notwendig.
