Starker Anstieg des Einsamkeitsgefühls bei Paaren

Abstract

Das Einsamkeitsempfinden der Deutschen istseit 2017 stark angestiegen. 2021 fühlte sich jeder fünfte Deutsche einsam. Je nach Geschlecht und Familienstand unterscheiden sich die Deutschen in der Entwicklung ihres Einsamkeitsempfindens: Während Personen in Partnerschaft im Jahr 2017 noch mit Abstand am seltensten ein Gefühl von Einsamkeit äußerten (5,7 Prozent), sind es 2021 fast 20 Prozent der in Partnerschaft lebenden Deutschen, die angaben, dass ihnen die Gesellschaft anderer (sehr) oft fehle.
